Air permeability-Knowledge

Air permeability was widely used in dryer fabric and forming fabric, It is used to evaluate the water filtration performance and homogeneity of the fabric. As development of paper fabric technology, It was used to evaluate the water filtration potential of different structures and thickness.

Air permeability is used for evaluate the potential dewatering capacity of the forming fabric. Combined with dewatering index DI , the dewatering ability of forming fabric was compared and evaluated. It is an important index recommended in the production and use of forming fabric.

All in all, Air permeability was testing the water filtration performance and homogeneity of different fabric structures. Therefore, it is widely used in paper fabric production industry.
